How to repair the failure of the chemical mixer

1. Inspection of mechanical seal assembly

The chemical mixer is prone to failure of the mechanical seal part, which often fails due to wear and tear, and the sealing cavity is flooded. First of all, the mechanical seal assembly was decomposed, and the parts including two sets of mechanical seals, skeleton oil seals, output shafts, bearings, shells and end covers were cleaned and inspected, and the relevant dimensions of the bearing seat and output shaft of the mechanical stirrer were checked.

2. Analysis and inspection of gearbox

The gearbox of some agitator equipment has high processing accuracy and good heat treatment, and the gearbox is cleaned, and each gear, gear shaft and bearing are carefully inspected. It was found that the surface of the gear teeth was smooth, there was no pitting and crossing, the gear meshing backlash was normal, and the tooth profile was not obviously worn. The radial and axial clearances of each bearing are normal, and there are no pitting spots on the inner and outer rings and roller surfaces, and the overall quality is good; The axial clearance of each axis is reasonable, and the output shaft of the handpan can move freely, without jamming and abnormal sound. Then, the fault of the gearbox can be ruled out.

3. Inspection, analysis and treatment of motor faults

Chemical mixer motor fault performance: Before disassembling the motor, dry operation is carried out to find out the problem. For example, the motor of the mechanical agitator makes abnormal noise, and the vibration is very large; The sleeve of the motor shaft of the mechanical agitator sizzles sound, and the shaft extension temperature reaches dozens of degrees in less than 2 minutes of idle operation, which is hot. The inner ring of the inner bearing of the mechanical agitator produces a pear-like pitting area due to pitting, and the surface is rough, dull and dull, and the pitting holes can be clearly seen; The inner ring of the skeleton oil seal is damaged; The inner ring and shaft sleeve of the bearing of the mechanical agitator have dark spots formed by "running rings" at the corresponding journals.

Due to the pitting of the inner ring of the bearing of the chemical mixer, the pear peel-like pitting area is formed, and when the bearing rollers pass through, there is obvious stagnation and sound. This can be the root cause of the abnormal noise in the motor inside the chemical mixer, which can be solved by replacing the bearings in the agitator.

4. Questions that need to be explained

(1) The motor rotor shaft in the chemical mixer is the reference part of the flow pusher, and the maintenance of the flow pusher, in addition to repairing the reference parts, also needs to decompose and inspect each part and replace the damaged parts, so that the performance of the equipment has been restored.

(2) The overhaul time of the diving equipment inside the chemical machinery mixer is generally 5-6 years;

(3) The common treatment method for small shaft journals in chemical mixers is to increase the parts method, that is, the diameter of the section is turned in the mixer, a shaft sleeve is added, and the inner hole is matched with the shaft by means of interference fit, and the outer surface meets the size required by the fit. Or replace the motor rotor shaft inside the agitator to solve the problem.
